Hi, I’m Josee!

Married to Jared, and mama to Lochlan. I love my family and I love my job! My holistic health journey started when I was 13 years old. After a childhood of digestive struggles, I wanted to get to the bottom of it. Over the course of 10 years, I had the privilege of working with a variety of practitioners who each gave me a tool for my kit to being well. It wasn’t always easy, but I learned a lot along the way. I decided to pursue holistic nutrition, as an avenue to support people as they heal from the inside out. I received my diploma in Applied Nutrition from Alive Academy and then continued to learn how to assess cells using Darkfield Microscopy (click here to learn more about it.) I am passionate about sharing what I know with people who are hungry for healing! I especially love working with women, elite athletes, and those affected by mental illness. Do you think we might be a good fit?

My Education

Ever since working with amazing practitioners in high school, I knew I wanted to study holistic health. When high school finished, I was stuck between pursuing health or media. I chose media to start, receiving the opportunity to work in the news industry. It was an amazing experience, but I found myself always thinking up stories that had to do with holistic health! While still working in the field, I began my studies through Alive Academy. When I had the opportunity to shift gears into the health food world, I took it. I began taking on more marketing and media jobs at a thriving health food store in Alberta, and learned so much along the way - on top of school. In 2021, I finished my diploma in Applied Nutrition through the Alive Academy out of Richmond, B.C.

Alive Academy

Over the past 4 years, I have completed in depth courses that trained me in many topics from optimal nutrition across the lifespan (newborns to seniors) to vegetarian nutrition, and lots in between. While I am now a licensed member of the CANNP, I am currently continuing on to complete a more comprehensive Nutritional Consulting Diploma to further and continue my education. I always want to learn more so I can better serve my clients.

Edison Institute

In 2022, I decided to do the Darkfield Microscopy Live Blood Cell Analysis training through Edison. They provide the most in depth training on this assessment tool.
I am excited to be able to incorporate this analysis using my state of the art microscope, and better assess where my clients are at on a cellular level.
